Jeffco Transitions to Fully Remote (Grades 6-12) Through End of Semester

Jeffco Public Schools announced they are moving grades 6-12 fully remote beginning Monday, Nov. 16th due to the surge of COVID-19 in Colorado. An email from Jeffco and a parent email from Principal Conroy went out to families on Nov. 12th. In addition, Principal Conroy sent out a Parent Letter GHS Transfer to Remote Learning with details on the GHS transition and expectations.

Need help with classes and homework or want to talk with someone about how to manage high school? The Demon Virtual Tutoring Center is available via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-3:00 PM! By kids for kids.  Staffed by GHS students & volunteer students from the School of Mines.

Updated Graduation Requirements starting in 2020-21 School Year

Jeffco students graduating in and after 2021 must meet or exceed the new graduation requirements:

  • accumulate a minimum of 23 credits in required courses AND
  • demonstrate their knowledge in English and math to show they are ready to pursue a career after high school. Visit the Jeffco Public School website for detailed information on demonstration of knowledge requirements.
