Golden High School is located in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Golden, Colorado. GHS, founded in 1873, is the oldest school in Colorado with over 125 years of history.

GHS Testing Schedule - spring 2021

Revised Spring Testing Schedule
Additional Information 
- Make-up SAT: Tuesday, April 27th
- Make up: PSAT 8/9: Wednesday, April 28th 
- Make up PSAT 10: Thursday, April 29th 
Buses will pick up at the following times on testing days - Tuesday, April 13th - 12:45pm; Wednesday, April 14th -  11:30am; Thursday, April 15th -  12:00pm.
- Students with accommodations will test longer. Release times vary per individual. In some situations a student with accommodations may be scheduled over multiple days. Please plan transportation accordingly. Please contact Christina Gese at cgese@jeffcoschools.us or 303-982-6024 if you have questions about the timing for your student with accommodations. 
- Lunch will be served each test day.

Updated Graduation REquirements

Updated Graduation Requirements starting in 2020-21 School Year

Jeffco students graduating in and after 2021 must meet or exceed the new graduation requirements:

  • accumulate a minimum of 23 credits in required courses AND
  • demonstrate their knowledge in English and math to show they are ready to pursue a career after high school. Visit the Jeffco Public School website for detailed information on demonstration of knowledge requirements.
