What are the minimum admission requirements set by the Colorado Council on Higher Education's for Colorado's public 4-year colleges and universities?
English 4 years
Math- Algebra I or higher 4 years
Natural/Physical Sciences 3 years (2 lab sciences)
Social Studies 3 years
Foreign Language 1 year
Academic Electives 2 years
**Please note that these are the minimum. Many schools require more years of world language or other courses. Please check with the individual college/university.

What are the graduation requirements?
All students must successfully complete the required 23 credits in order to participate in GHS's graduation ceremony. The requirements include:
* English (4.0)
* Social Studies (3.5) in the following areas:
--0.5 Geography
--0.5 American Government
--1.0 American History
--1.0 World History
--0.5 Economics
* Mathematics (3.0 at least at a level of Algebra 1 or above)
* Science (3.0)
* Physical Education (0.5)
*Fine Arts or Career Technical Ed (CTE) (0.5)
* Electives (8.5 total)

What are the Valedictorian Criteria?
--Have a cumulative 4.0 grade point average (unweighted)
--Have completed the required 23 credits to graduate
--Have a minimum of 10 credits in Advanced Placement classes, Honors classes or Accelerated classes
--Take 1 of the 10 credits in Advanced Placement, Honors or Accelerated classes in the senior year
--Pass/Fail classes will not count
--In the case of a tie, the valedictorian will be the student with the highest total grade points. The Salutatorian will be the first runner up
